Meeta Jain is a graduate and a Gold Medalist of Centre for Environment Planning and Technology (CEPT), Ahmedabad, and leads a team of six designers as the Principal of Meeta Jain Architects, Bangalore. MJA’s range of expertise includes architecture, interiors, temporary spaces, landscape design and site planning. Their philosophy is to create built environments that infuse joy into the lives of people, while  ensuring a strong core of functional utility.  
 
In 2009 the team began to think if one could design temporary spaces or envision new space models that challenge existing stereotype models in realms of Art, Culture, Education and Spaces! So an alternative practice, Mapbee, was born, that also became a way to work with different creative practitioners. So far Mapbee has  experimented with projects in the realm of public spaces, educational spaces, waste recycling, mobile exhibitions, play spaces and dismantlable homes.
