A Tale of Three Markets

17th October 2021

How do people of different genders occupy public spaces in the city? Do we do so by our own choice? What does this mean to the designers and users of these spaces?

Join us on a morning walk in the old city to collectively reflect on why public spaces are gendered in Indian cities. We will begin the walk at Rani no Hajiro and walk through market areas and other streets. We will conclude at the Ravivari (Sunday market) with stimulating conversations and some amazing breakfast.

Time: 8.00 am

Location: Rani no Hajiro
